TheColorado303!Life or TheColorado303.com is a not for profit online magazine or journal that provides newsworthy articles in entertainment, travel, and culture in the Colorado region.
Magazine Platform
TheColorado303!Life is a volunteer group of contributing authors that share the desire to share the stories of local culture. As many online journals cover larger national stories, the primary focus at TheColorado303!Life is to cover the smaller local happenings in the area. Articles are designed to be shorter than traditional articles but informative. Becoming a contributing author or contributing a story is easy.
Topics of focus
- Arts and Entertainment
Colorado has a very active art culture. There is a very active population of artists, musicians, thrill seekers, outdoor adventurers, off roaders etc….. the list goes on and on. Colorado’s has no shortage of landscapes, events, art, and music culture that easily provide inspiration. The struggle exists within almost every artist in every trade. It is not a question of talent but a matter of promoting it. A primary goal is to tell their story.
Filming, acting, comedy, modeling, theater, music, new local bands and performers etc…
- People and Skilled trades
Artists show their talents in many forms. Colorado is a home for craft and
invention. There are over 300 craft breweries in the Denver area alone. Special topics in this category include glass blowers, artisan coffee, food, craft cocktails, clothing designers, candles, natural body oils, organic farming, CBD oils, hemp farming etc…..
- Public Events
Throughout the year there is rarely a shortage of events. Summers are filled with
music and wine festivals! After it snows, it is time to hit the hot springs and slopes!
Topics in the area include wine festivals, music festivals, renaissance festival, hot air balloons, rodeos, winter sports events, christmas markets, conventions, fashion shows etc…
- Travel
Mostly great places to visit in the Colorado and neighboring areas.
- Food and drink
Not only is there and abundance of restaurants and coffee shops, there are also many smaller mom and pop shops that offer a unique ambiance to their customers.
- Recreation
Kayaking, river tubing, hiking, off road, horseback riding, paddleboarding, fishing, ziplining etc…
- Local Hot Spots
Anything from river rafting, haunted places, and speakeasy bars to museums.
- Local Community
Bike thefts on the rise, coping with higher living prices, where to get a good deal etc….
- Miscellaneous
Any article that fits somewhere in this ideology that may be of interest to readers
Call for Contributing Authors
Contributing associate authors are writers who would like to be part of this aspiring media network. Experience is not required. This is for writers who plan to submit more articles in the future and be a part of the group. Articles can be as short as 2 or 3 paragraphs but should be informative. As an associate author, you will receive a bio link and be credited as “written by first last name, Associate writer” and the link will go to your bio.
Independent contributors who have contributed a single article and do not plan to contribute more are credited as “First Last name, Independent contributor”
